Placing Youth on the Path to Success

James Lockett has served as Gifted Loves President since 2015.

Before being co Founder of Gifted Love, James worked for AMIkids Inc for 15 years as Director Of Operations for W.I.N.G.S and AMIkids Miami Dade South. He was also has a gold record was an ex recording artist on Profile Records and was also label mate's with artist like Run Dmc.

James received his BA Degree in Criminal Justice and Masters degree in Hospitality. James is also certified in First Aid and CPR, Serv Safe, Lifeguard, Skill Streaming Instructor, Certified Chef and Arise Instructor.

James was born in East Orange New Jersey and later moved to Miami, Florida. James has been married for 16 years and has three beautiful daughters and one son. James feels that the Purpose of working with at risk youth is to: Enable young people to develop holistically, working with them to facilitate their personal, social and educational development, to enable them to develop their voice, influence and place in society and to reach their full potential.

Thought: To be successful you half to want it as bad as you want to breath.

Kalum Harris has served as Gifted Loves co Founder/ Vice President since 2015. He is a passionate educator with a dedicated focus on helping urban and at-risk youth.

Before being one of the co founders of Gifted Love, Kalum’s career has been in the arena of community development and service through a variety of different avenues - family services, juvenile justice, department of children and families, mentorship coordination. Kalum’s goal is to utilize the skills that he have gained and cultivate the relationships established in a meaningful way to holistically serve the communities needs.
Harris received his BA degree from the prestigious Florida A&M University with a Minor in Sociology and a Major in Criminal Justice.
Kalum Harris grew up in Miami Dade County, Florida, 1 of 2 kids in a single parent home. When he started working with kids – he saw in them himself. It was for him like looking into a mirror, he has lived their life and he credits his father, mother and grandmother for being the strong role models he needed to be where he is today. His mother taught him to respect leadership in the home and this would carry throughout his life. He believes in the mission of Gifted Love, focusing on family values, education, character building and experiential learning. Sharing his own story and his dedication to providing a promising future to troubled youth, is a way for him to give back and help influence kids into making better choices and giving them a bright future.
Kalum Lives in Atlanta Georgia with his wife Victoria and their two prides of joy Kaniyah (daughter) and Kalum III (son).

Victoria “Mrs. Shay” Dupree-Harris, is the Director of Operation for Gifted Love Family Empowerment Organization. She has held this position since 2015 and has found wholeheartedly fulfillment in serving others. While being a part of this humbling experience with the at-risk youth, she loves to pour the fundamentals of life lessons, that will give them the seeds to grow in Life while making sure it line up in using their full potential and their gifts of talents.

Since the age of 8, Victoria started in the Arts of Dancing and Singing at her local church & other community outreach programs. Unsure if she would really like it, she gave it try...…and of course she loved it! Once she hit the stages and noticed how much Joy, therapy and fulfillment it brought her, she continued all the way to her college years & even currently as an adult. Later on, after perfecting her gifts, she realizes her gift of dance and singing brought others a sense of relief, a sense of joy and even a brighter outlook on life, simply by the power of Songs and movement.

Victoria was Born and raised in the sunshine state of Miami, Florida where she was raised in a single-family home by her lovely mother Victoria bka Vicky. She instilled in her as a young child to always represent who you are, carry yourself with respect and do Everything in Excellence. Because your character speaks value, which will carry you throughout your life. Those same enrichment of words stayed with Victoria throughout her career and even in her life.
Before Given the opportunity to be the Director of Operation in the organization, Victoria profession was working merely a 9-5 job in the Banking, Human Resources and customer service fields. For over 10 years, she was exceptional at what she did and was even rewarded for many accomplishments from various businesses. Surprised she could never find the joy, between those four walls in these professions. After performing these rolls for many years, she realize there was no true purpose, nor desire in what she was doing daily. So she stepped out on faith, left her career, and pour her love & to time into the youth within The Gifted Love Family Empowerment.

In the midst of those transitional years, like some people, Victoria experienced hardship, losses and tragedy that help formed her into the women she is today. She used that same pain, hurt, disappointment and loss as fuel to lift up others and create a positive platform for the youth and family of Gifted Love Foundation. Because of those same life lessons & experiences, she felt the desire to grow a little deeper in her professional and personal life. As that fire grew, so did her outlook of her existence and began to be elevated by other motivational speakers and personal heart felt stories. “MOTIVATE TO ELEVATE” her favorite quote, that put eagerness to learn and become more knowledgeable about other people life journeys. Becoming more purpose driven in educating herself on how to strengthen others perspective on life. Currently, Victoria Is in the process in becoming Professional “Life Coach” so that she may continue pouring into that arena for our youth, their families and those that are in need of more support in guiding through life.

Dr. Raye Bovian plays a major role in keeping Gifted Love Family Empowerment strong and financially sound. As our Chief Financial Officer, she provides steady leadership, strategic direction, and the financial expertise needed to help our organization grow. Dr. Bovian has a long history of successful nonprofit financial management, budgeting, and fiscal accountability. Because of her commitment and skill, we can make the most of our resources and stay focused on what matters most empowering our youth through education, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities.
